The Rob Wolfe Trio was a group of three of the most exciting improvising musicians in New Hampshire. Working from a book of original music and jazz standards, this band conjured the dynamic group interplay of trios from the 50s and 60s like those led by Bill Evans and Ahmad Jamal, while creating soundscapes comparable to modern guitarists like Kurt Rosenwinkel and Pat Metheny.
